Arrow Video has revealed plans for a limited edition 4K Ultra HD release of George A. Romero and Stephen King’s 1982 horror anthology, Creepshow 2, set to launch this September with a brand new restoration. Check out the cover artwork and additional details.
Horror legends George A. Romero and Stephen King present another chilling collection of stories in Creepshow 2, the sequel to the 1982 classic.
In “Old Chief Wood’nhead,” a group of delinquent youths encounter unexpected consequences after ransacking a local hardware store. Meanwhile, “The Raft” shows a group of frisky teens regretting their decision to swim in a secluded lake after failing to heed the warnings. Lastly, in “The Hitch-hiker,” a meticulous businesswoman finds herself dealing with unwelcome company after a hit-and-run.
Creepshow 2, directed by longtime Romero collaborator Michael Gornick, retains the EC Comics style that contributed to the success of the original, making it a notable horror anthology crafted by two masters of the genre.
