      Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for The Cat in the Hat, the forthcoming animated adaptation of the beloved children's book by Dr. Seuss, featuring Bill Hader as the voice of the mischievous anthropomorphic cat.

      Joining Hader in the cast are Xochitl Gomez, Matt Berry, Quinta Brunson, Paula Pell, Tiago Martinez, Giancarlo Esposito, America Ferrera, Bowen Yang, and Tituss Burgess.

      Discover the Cat in the Hat like you’ve never seen him before! Following the delightful tradition of Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat makes his animated theatrical debut in an all-new, epic adventure filled with an edge where mischief, magic, and mayhem take center stage.

      Staying true to his nature, the Cat—voiced by Bill Hader—spreads joy to children in his unique, hilarious, and irreverent style, leading them and audiences on a fantastical journey through an unseen world.

      In this film, our hero faces his toughest mission yet for the I.I.I.I. (Institute for the Institution of Imagination and Inspiration, LLC): to uplift Gabby and Sebastian, a pair of siblings adjusting to life in a new town. Known for pushing boundaries, this may be the chaotic agent's final opportunity to validate himself...or risk losing his magical hat!

      The Cat in the Hat is set to hit theaters on February 27th, 2026.
