David Dastmalchian has been cast as M. Bison and Cody Rhodes will play Guile in Street Fighter.
As Legendary continues to build its cast for the Street Fighter movie, Deadline reports that David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil, The Life of Chuck) has been cast as the final boss, the head of the Shadaloo organization, M. Bison. Additionally, WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes will portray USAF pilot Guile following his upcoming cameo in The Naked Gun.
M. Bison made his debut as the primary antagonist in Capcom’s classic 1991 beat 'em up Street Fighter II and was famously played by Raul Julia in the 1994 Street Fighter movie, which starred Jean-Claude Van Damme as Guile. Bison was later depicted by Neal McDonough in the 2009 film Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.
In this new Street Fighter film, Dastmalchian and Rhodes will be part of a diverse cast that features Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, Jason Momoa as Blanka, Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson as Balrog, Orville Peck as Vega, Roman Reigns as Akuma, and Andrew Schul as Dan Hibiki.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai (Bad Trip), Street Fighter is scheduled for release on March 20, 2026. Share your opinions on the cast's formation with us on our social channels @FlickeringMyth…
