      The LEGO Group is broadening its LEGO Super Mario collection with two new Mario Kart-themed sets: Shy Guy & P-Wing (72045) and Piranha Plant Power-Up Pursuit (72044). These sets can be pre-ordered now and will officially launch on August 1st; you can check them out here…

      Drive, drift, glide, launch shells, and more with this LEGO® Super Mario™: Mario Kart™ building set for kids (72045). It makes an enjoyable birthday gift for boys, girls, and gamers aged 7 and older. The set includes a Shy Guy figure and a brick-built P-Wing, featuring a shell-launching function, Normal Wheels, and a detachable Plane Glider. Additionally, a Banana element is included to toss at competing karts!

      Adjust the driver’s seat forward to accommodate LEGO® Mario™, LEGO® Luigi™, or LEGO® Peach™ figures (from sets 71439, 71440, 71441, or 72043 – sold separately) for interactive gameplay, activating Mario Kart sound and visual effects for starting races, drifting, gliding, and more.

      Building instructions are provided in the box or can be accessed through the LEGO Super Mario app. Look for additional LEGO Super Mario: Mario Kart building sets (sold separately) to find other characters and vehicles for racing and battling. This set comes with 249 pieces.
