Outlander: Blood of My Blood revolves around two love stories, focusing on the parents of Claire and Jamie Fraser, and presents parallel narratives set in 18th century Scotland and World War I-era England. A surprising twist revealed in the trailer shows Claire's parents, Julia and Henry, traveling back in time, leading to their separation. Julia encounters Ellen MacKenzie, Jamie’s mother, and assists her in reaching her true love, Brian Fraser, while Henry searches for Julia.
The prequel series is already confirmed for a second season, while the main series, Outlander, concluded production on its final season last year and is expected to debut in early 2026.
Outlander: Blood of My Blood introduces audiences to two new couples — Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine), along with Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) — who strive to be together against all odds as their love stories unfold through time. Spanning from the battlefields of World War I to the rugged Highlands of 18th century Scotland, these two destined love stories must confront the forces attempting to keep them apart, intersecting in unexpected ways.
