Emma Myers returns for season 2 of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder with a fresh cast.
Emma Myers faces a new mystery to unravel in the first image from season two of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, as several new cast members have been revealed for the forthcoming season.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is adapted from Holly Jackson’s mystery trilogy. The inaugural season showcased Myers’ Pip Fitz-Amobi, a bright high school student who embarks on an investigation into the seemingly resolved case of Andie Bell, a popular girl murdered by her boyfriend. The case turned out to be more intricate than it initially appeared, leading to mounting inconsistencies and putting Pip in danger.
The second season is based on Jackson’s Good Girl, Bad Blood. Following her resolution of the Andie Bell case, Pip's life has been altered by her actions, often in negative ways. Determined to mend the consequences and avoid further investigations, Pip’s plans are disrupted when Connor’s brother Jamie suddenly vanishes as Max Hastings’ trial nears, forcing Pip to race against time to find him. This new enigma will lead Pip to unexpected places as she grapples with the concept of justice, straying even further from the ‘good girl’ she once was.
Joining the cast are Misia Butler (Kaos), Eden Hambelton Davies (Tell Me Everything), and Jack Rowan (Noughts And Crosses) in significant roles, along with Anna Brindle (The Outs), Peter Sullivan (Around The World In 80 Days), Freddie Thorp (Fate: The Winx Saga), Lu Corfield (The Crow Girl), Stephanie Street (Breathtaking), and Freddie England in supporting roles.
Butler will portray Stanley Forbes, a figure involved in the investigation with connections that may run deeper than they appear. Davies will play Jamie Reynolds, Connor’s quiet but popular brother, whose unexpected disappearance sends ripples through the community. Rowan will be Charlie Green, Pip’s new neighbor who becomes entangled in the mystery unfolding in Little Kilton.
Returning alongside Myers from season one are Zain Iqbal, Henry Ashton, Asha Banks, Yali Topol Margalith, and Jude Morgan-Collie.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is produced by BBC and Moonage Pictures, with Jackson and Poppy Cagan developing the series, and Asim Abbasi and Jill Robertson directing.
