The paranormal horror film The Undertone has released its trailer in anticipation of its premiere at Fantasia.
In advance of its world premiere this Sunday at the Fantasia Film Festival, Black Fawn Films has unveiled a poster and trailer for the forthcoming horror film, The Undertone.
The storyline follows Evy, a host of a paranormal podcast, who relocates to her mother's home to provide care for her. In the process, she receives unsettling audio recordings from a couple, leading her to the chilling realization that their experiences closely resemble her own.
Written and directed by Ian Tuason, the film features a cast that includes Nina Kiri, Michèle Duquet, and Kris Holden-Ried. You can watch the trailer below...
The narrator of an ‘all-things-creepy’ podcast takes on the role of primary caregiver for her terminally ill mother. When she receives ten bizarre audio recordings featuring a young pregnant couple who are encountering paranormal disturbances, she starts to see parallels between their narrative and her own, as each recording gradually undermines her sanity and pulls her into an inescapable fate.
The Undertone is set to make its debut on July 27th at Fantasia.
