IT: Welcome To Derry instills fear with a new trailer, hinting at the return of Pennywise.
Are we prepared for another frightening journey in Derry, Maine? HBO is bringing us back into the sinister realm crafted by Stephen King with a brand new original nine-episode series, IT: Welcome to Derry, set to debut just in time for the Halloween season. At this year’s Comic-Con, a 10-minute preview left the live audience rattled, while those watching from home were given a glimpse through a new two-minute teaser that hints at another unforgettable (and terrifying) adventure in Derry.
IT: Welcome to Derry begins in 1962, just before the events of IT: Chapter One. Andy Muschietti, the director of the hit horror films and several episodes this season, also hinted that potential future seasons could explore events set in 1935 and 1908. Jason Fuchs and Brad Caleb Kane are co-showrunners for the series. Check out the eerie new preview of the show below...
The series stars Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Madeleine Stowe, and Stephen Rider. The supporting cast includes Alixandra Fuchs, Kimberly Guerrero, Dorian Grey, Thomas Mitchell, BJ Harrison, Peter Outerbridge, Shane Marriott, Chad Rook, Joshua Odjick, Rudy Mancuso, and Morningstar Angeline.
Bill Skarsgård will also return as Pennywise the Clown, reprising his famous role from It and its sequel, It: Chapter Two. IT: Welcome to Derry premieres on HBO Max this October.
