New trailer released for Spike Lee's Highest 2 Lowest featuring Denzel Washington.
A24 and Apple Original Films have unveiled a new trailer for Highest 2 Lowest, Spike Lee’s loose adaptation of Akira Kurosawa’s 1963 classic, High and Low. The film features Denzel Washington, a frequent collaborator with Lee, alongside a cast that includes Jeffrey Wright, Ilfenesh Hadera, and A$AP Rocky. You can watch the new trailer below.
In this story, a prominent music mogul (Denzel Washington), renowned for having the “best ears in the business,” finds himself ensnared in a life-or-death moral crisis when targeted in a ransom scheme. Denzel Washington and Spike Lee team up for the fifth time in their long-standing collaboration to reinterpret Kurosawa’s crime thriller, now set against the gritty backdrop of contemporary New York City.
Highest 2 Lowest will hit theaters on August 15th and will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ starting September 5th.
