
Rare Collection 1 will introduce retro classics to the Evercade.
This November, Evercade's ever-growing game catalogue will be expanded with a thoughtfully selected collection of classic games from one of the most cherished developers in gaming history, Rare. The Rare Collection 1 will feature 12 iconic titles from the era of 8-bit home computers and consoles. Check out the new trailer below.
As a tribute to Rare's 40-year legacy, the Rare Collection 1 highlights 12 legendary titles that showcase their journey from early computer and console games to the creativity and technical advancements demonstrated in handhelds and arcades. This collection offers a diverse range of gameplay experiences, ensuring there’s something for everyone, whether you prefer high-speed racing, wild west shootouts, or action-packed platformers.
The collection includes the following titles:
- Atic Atac (Spectrum)
- Gunfright (Spectrum)
- Jetpac (Spectrum)
- Knight Lore (Spectrum)
- Lunar Jetman (Spectrum)
- Sabre Wulf (Spectrum)
- Underwurlde (C64)
- Cobra Triangle (8-bit console)
- R.C. Pro-Am (8-bit console)
- Battletoads (8-bit console)
- Conker’s Pocket Tales (Handheld)
- Battletoads Arcade (Arcade)
Additionally, the Rare Collection 1 will introduce the highly anticipated Spectrum to the system's emulation capabilities, which is fantastic news for Spectrum enthusiasts who feel overlooked. This cartridge will be part of Evercade's red home console line (numbered 47); however, due to the various systems included, it will feature a reversible cover, allowing collectors to match it with the blue Home Computer line.
The Rare Collection 1 is set to launch for Evercade this November, with pre-orders starting on September 30th.
