20th Century Studios has unveiled a poster and trailer for Ella McCay, the latest film from writer-director James L. Brooks, marking his first release since 2010’s How Do You Know.
The movie features Emma Mackey as the lead, alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Lowden, Kumail Nanjiani, Ayo Edebiri, Spike Fearn, Rebecca Hall, Julie Kavner, Becky Ann Baker, Joey Brooks, Albert Brooks, and Woody Harrelson.
The story follows an optimistic young woman as she balances her family and work life in a comedy that explores the complexities of love and survival among loved ones.
Ella McCay will be released in theaters on December 12th.
