      TAITO's Operation Night Strikers features four iconic games: Operation Wolf, Operation Thunderbolt, Night Striker, and Space Gun. These titles brought endless entertainment to fans of light gun and driving games in the 1980s, with some even making their way to home computers.

      Operation Wolf challenged players with the ultimate test of their light gun skills. Equipped only with a machine gun and rocket-propelled grenades, gamers were tasked with rescuing hostages, escorting them to safety, and eliminating numerous foes.

      In Operation Thunderbolt, the hero Roy Adams from Operation Wolf returns, as players embark on another mission to rescue hostages, this time set in Africa. With an increase in adversaries, more thrills, and even greater explosions, this sequel offers more of what fans love.

      Night Striker places players in the role of an elite member of UNSTAF (United Nations Special Tactical Action Force). Charged with dismantling a terrorist organization, players must navigate the high-speed combat hovercraft: Inter-Gray Xsi, overcoming daunting challenges in a thrilling nonstop action setting.

      Space Gun transports players to the year 2039 AD, during a time of space exploration. When a cargo ship sends out a distress signal, the team at the nearby space station springs into action. As part of an elite squad of space marines, players wield a multi-purpose rifle to combat waves of monsters, rescue survivors, and save the day.

      Each title in the Operation Night Strikers compilation includes a host of quality-of-life improvements that modern gamers have come to expect. Players on Nintendo Switch can utilize the Joy-Con motion controls to achieve that authentic light gun experience, while both Switch and Steam users can opt for USB mouse or cursor-assisted controls to enjoy the classic gameplay reminiscent of the 80s.

      Operation Night Strikers is now available for digital download on Steam and Nintendo Switch, with a physical edition for Switch set to release on January 23, 2026.
