In anticipation of its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this September, 20th Century Studios has released the first trailer and poster for the upcoming drama "Swiped."
Directed by Rachel Lee Goldenberg, the film follows the journey of Whitney Wolfe (portrayed by Lily James), who is recognized as the youngest self-made female billionaire and the creator of the online dating service Bumble.
The cast alongside James includes Jackson White, Myha’la, Ben Schnetzer, Pierson Fodé, Clea DuVall, Pedro Correa, Ian Colleti, Coral Peña, and Dan Stevens. You can watch the trailer below…
"Swiped" draws inspiration from the compelling true story of the visionary founder of Bumble, presenting recent college graduate Whitney Wolfe, played by Lily James. She demonstrates remarkable determination and creativity as she navigates the male-dominated tech industry and develops an innovative dating app (or rather, two), ultimately becoming the youngest female self-made billionaire.
The film will be available on Disney+ on September 19th.
