Tim Blake Nelson seeks redemption in the trailer for the boxing drama Bang Bang.

      Vertigo has released a poster and trailer for Bang Bang, a sports drama directed by Vincent Grashaw (What Josiah Saw).

      Tim Blake Nelson, returning from his Marvel role in Captain America: Brave New World, plays Bernard “Bang Bang” Rozyski, a retired boxer who sees an opportunity to amend for his past mistakes when he starts training his estranged grandson.

      The cast also features Glenn Plummer, Andrew Liner, and Kevin Corrigan. You can watch the trailer below.

      After reconnecting with his estranged grandson, retired boxer Bernard “Bang Bang” Rozyski (Tim Blake Nelson) is motivated to train again. Although their training helps Bang Bang emerge from his struggles, others question his intentions, including an ex-girlfriend from decades past who witnessed his rapid ascent in the sport during the 80s. Is Bang Bang simply passing down inherited anger, or is he genuinely trying to help?

      Bang Bang is set to be released in theaters on September 12th.
