The Good Boy trailer hints at a horror story seen through the eyes of a dog.

      IFC Films has released a poster and trailer for director Ben Leonberg's supernatural horror film, Good Boy, featuring a dog as the central character. Indy the dog leads the story as the titular good boy who relocates to a rural home with his best friend, but the eerie setting leaves Indy on edge. The brave pup decides to confront the malevolent spirits that threaten to take his cherished human companion to the afterlife.

      Joining Indy in the film are actors Larry Fessenden, Arielle Friedman, Shane Jensen, Anya Krawcheck, and Stuart Rudin. You can watch the trailer below...

      In this tale, our canine hero Indy embarks on a new journey with his human owner and best friend, Todd, as they leave the city behind for a long-uninhabited family home in the countryside. Right from the beginning, two things are clear: Indy is uneasy about the unsettling old house, and his loyalty to Todd is steadfast. After settling in, Indy quickly becomes disturbed by empty spaces, tracks an unseen presence that only he can sense, receives eerie warnings from a long-gone dog, and is troubled by visions of the previous occupant's tragic demise. As Todd starts to yield to the dark forces surrounding the house, Indy must confront an evil intent on pulling his beloved Todd into the afterlife. Good Boy will be in theaters on October 3rd.
