Ballpoint will make a comeback in Transformers: Worst Bot Ever - Bot Swap!
Skybound, Image, and Hasbro have announced that the 'Worst Bot Ever' will be returning in June next year, featuring former Decepticon Ballpoint as the star once again in Transformers: Worst Bot Ever – Bot Swap!, the second installment in a series of all-ages original graphic novels by writer Brian ‘Smitty’ Smith and artist Marz Jr, following this year’s initial release.
“I’m extremely excited to bring more adventures of the bot with the largest ego (and an even bigger heart). Ballpoint has instantly resonated with Transformers fans of all ages, so get ready for this next adventure,” said Smith, while Marz added, “What trouble have you gotten yourself into this time, Ballpoint?! I’m excited to bring back this lovable troublemaker for another hilarious escapade!”
As readers reconnect with Ballpoint, a reformed Decepticon, they will experience the chaos that ensues when he struggles to fit in with his new Autobot friends. A mishap involving an experimental weapon leads to him swapping bodies with the most feared Decepticon of all—Megatron!
Will Ballpoint's newfound size and strength finally earn him the acceptance he seeks? What will happen when the powerful Megatron unexpectedly finds himself in the tiny body of the Worst Bot Ever?
Transformers: Worst Bot Ever – Bot Swap! is scheduled for release on June 17th, 2026.
