Indie developer Next Generation Gaming has unveiled a new trailer (see below) for their forthcoming survival horror game, Outbreak Zero. Set to launch on December 12, the game will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store, featuring a chilling narrative with haunting visuals and intense combat.

Outbreak Zero places players in a city teetering on the edge of chaos due to a zombie outbreak that begins on a train, prompting mass panic among the populace. Assuming the role of Max, players must navigate survival, discover the source of the outbreak, and find a means to halt it.

As Max, players will traverse the dark tunnels and eerily deserted streets of the city, confronting terrifying enemies and the encroaching madness of a metropolis gripped by fear. With limited resources at hand, players must make every shot count and engage in fierce melee combat.

Utilizing Unreal Engine 5, Outbreak Zero will immerse players in atmospheric settings as they search for clues and cryptic notes in their quest to find a remedy for the zombie plague ravaging the city. Players will encounter environmental puzzles and unlock new areas that will bring them closer to the answers Max is after.

A terrifying array of creatures awaits Max in the city, ranging from ravenous zombies to mutated beings and nightmare-inspired monstrosities. Fortunately, players can unlock new weapons and gear as they progress.

Stay tuned for the Outbreak Zero demo, which will be coming to Steam and the Epic Games Store soon.
