Bluey: The Movie is set to be released in August 2027.
Fans of Bluey can begin their celebrations with Dance Mode now that the feature film, Bluey: The Movie, has been scheduled for release on August 6, 2027. The series follows Bluey and her family, which includes her sister Bingo and parents Bandit and Chili. It debuted in Australia in 2018, but its accessibility on Disney's streaming service has significantly increased its popularity among both kids and adults.
The announcement regarding the release date was made on the series' Instagram account. Bluey: The Movie will feature the voices of Melanie Zanetti and David McCormack, who will reprise their roles as Chili and Bandit, along with other cast members from the show.
Joe Brumm, the creator of Bluey, has penned the screenplay for the film. After the completion of the show's third season with the extended special episode ‘The Sign’ followed by ‘Surprise!’, Brumm disclosed that he would be stepping back from the series to concentrate on the film's development. However, there has been no information regarding a fourth season of the series or who might take over from Brumm since that announcement. Despite the uncertainty surrounding its future on television, Bluey continues to be among the most-watched shows on Disney+, with millions of streaming minutes logged.
With the release date now set for August 6, 2027, Bluey: The Movie is anticipated to come just a month after the freshly announced Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow.
