ININ Games and developer Smallthing Studios have announced that digital pre-orders for Simon the Sorcerer Origins are now open for PC and consoles. The game is set to launch on October 28th, marking the return of one of the most iconic point-and-click adventures in gaming history. A new trailer showcasing Simon’s world and the Deluxe Edition can be viewed below.
Simon the Sorcerer Origins will be released in two versions: Standard and Deluxe. The Standard Edition includes only the game, while the Deluxe Edition comes with a digital artbook and the complete soundtrack. Players who pre-order either version will receive the exclusive PONY DLC, enabling them to enjoy the original 1993 Simon the Sorcerer soundtrack during gameplay. The new soundtrack has been created by renowned composer Mason Fischer and features music icon Rick Astley in a special capacity.
It's been over thirty years since the debut of Simon's first game, and Simon the Sorcerer Origins invites players back into his enchanting magic world to explore his origins. Longtime fans will be pleased to know that the original voice actors are reprising their roles, with Chris Barrie (Red Dwarf) providing voices for English players and Erik Borner (Spy Cat) for German players. This nostalgic touch is sure to resonate with veteran gamers.
