The slasher roguelite Hotel Barcelona invites you to check in with its launch trailer.

      The surreal, blood-soaked roguelite Hotel Barcelona is now accessible on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC through Steam. Delve into a hotel inhabited by serial killers and an ancient evil in this new roguelite from the developers of Deadly Premonition, No More Heroes, and Lollipop Chainsaw. Check out the game’s latest trailer featuring directors SWERY and SUDA51.

      Take on the role of Justine, a federal marshal tasked with investigating the enigmatic hotel. Upon arrival, she comes face to face with an ancient evil called Dr. Carnival, who grants her an unusual yet extraordinary power. When Justine discovers that the hotel is overrun by the most dangerous serial killers in America, she must carve her way through this holiday resort.

      Drawing inspiration from classic horror film subgenres, players will fight, die, and retry in this revamped roguelite. Gain strength with every drop of blood spilled and fill the skull gauge to unleash the Carnival Awakening, a formidable special attack. Each time death occurs, an echo called Slasher Phantoms emerges, replicating the player's previous movements and inflicting real damage on foes. These echoes can serve as shields, allies, or simple distractions.

      The hotel features seven horror-themed areas to explore, ranging from insane laboratories to the classic haunted mansion, each containing a challenging and deadly boss. Players will need quick reflexes and effective strategies to defeat these seven bosses.

      Players do not have to tackle Hotel Barcelona alone; they can team up with up to two friends in co-op mode. Alternatively, they can amplify the challenge with a PvP mode that allows a fourth player to join.
