Engage in combat on the red planet with the gameplay trailer for Mars Tactics.

      Hooded Horse and Takibi Games have unveiled a new trailer for their forthcoming tactical strategy game, Mars Tactics. They have also announced that the game is set to launch on Steam in May 2026. The latest trailer (see below) features fresh gameplay footage, as well as insights into management and squad customization features.

      In Mars Tactics, players will journey to the red planet to engage in extensive strategic warfare across its terrain. They can choose to align with one of two factions: the resource-deprived Labour Revolutionaries or the Capital army that serves the wealthy. Players will lead soldiers who can evolve and acquire skills through their battle experiences, while also commanding scientists and engineers to maintain an advantage over their adversaries.

      Each faction will possess unique strengths and weaknesses that players must navigate. The Labour Revolutionaries, capable of manufacturing their own weapons on Mars, will enjoy higher morale, yet their troop numbers and overall firepower will be less than that of the Capital's forces.

      With a destructible environment, players will have the opportunity to adopt various strategic approaches during missions. They can demolish walls to create escape routes for their units, call in airstrikes to eliminate enemy strongholds, dig trenches for cover, or remove the ground beneath their foes to compromise their defense.

      In this expansive conflict, players can suppress enemy forces, set up outposts, innovate new technologies, and engage in additional strategic actions. They can also raid enemy facilities and capture prisoners of war for crucial intelligence.

      Whether players choose to fight for the oppressed Labour Revolutionaries or the Capital army and their Earth-based investors, Mars Tactics promises to deliver squad-level battles for dominance over an entire planet. Stay tuned for Mars Tactics, launching on Steam in May 2026.
