Blue Finch Films has released a trailer, poster, and images for the Brazilian horror film A Mother’s Embrace, directed by Cristian Ponce. The story revolves around a young firefighter who leads a team tasked with evacuating elderly residents from a retirement home as a storm strikes Rio De Janeiro. However, as the building starts to flood, she uncovers a dark secret lurking beneath the surface, revealing that the residents are not as innocent as they appear.

In 1996, a young firefighter (Marjorie Estiano) and her team respond to an elderly care facility threatened by flooding during the worst storm ever to hit Rio de Janeiro. While they attempt to evacuate the seniors, she quickly realizes that something malevolent is beneath the surface, and the residents are not as harmless as they initially seemed. Caught in their trap, she must confront her own traumatic past to find a way out. A Mother’s Embrace is set to be released on November 10th.
