Netflix has released a trailer for the Indonesian zombie horror film The Elixir.

      Netflix has unveiled a trailer for The Elixir, an Indonesian horror film directed by Kimo Stamboel.

      In the film, a troubled family must unite to survive after an elixir triggers a lethal zombie outbreak in their isolated village. The cast features Mikha Tambayong, Eva Celia, Marthino Lio, Dimas Anggara, Varen Arianda Calief, Ardit Erwandha, and Claresta Taufan. You can watch the trailer below...

      “Set in a remote village close to Yogyakarta, the story begins with a patriarch's desire to hold onto power, resulting in family conflicts and disaster. Kenes (Mikha Tambayong) and her family travel to meet her father, Sadimin (Donny Damara), who runs a well-known herbal medicine business, to talk about the future of their family enterprise. Tensions rise when Kenes confronts her best friend, Karina (Eva Celia), regarding her plans to marry Sadimin. However, the argument quickly shifts to terror when Sadimin, after consuming a new potion for eternal youth, unexpectedly collapses and morphs into a horrifying zombie.”

      The Elixir will be available on Netflix starting October 23rd.
