Star Cops will make a comeback with new audio adventures in 2026.
Big Finish has announced information regarding the initial three episodes of Star Cops: Conflict, a new full-cast audio drama miniseries set to commence in January 2026. Inspired by Chris Boucher’s 1987 television series, Star Cops: Conflict will feature the International Space Police Force (ISPF) addressing escalating tensions and threats to peace.
This six-part miniseries will showcase the original cast from the TV series as they reprise their roles. These include David Calder as Commander Nathan Spring, Linda Newton as Chief Superintendent Pal Kenzy, Trevor Cooper as Inspector Colin Devis, Philip Olivier as Inspector Paul Bailey, and Lynsey Murrell as Inspector Alice Okoro. The guest cast features Ben Miles (Andor), Jessica Martin (Spitting Image), and Hannah Bristow (The Man Who Fell to Earth).
The first three episodes in this new miniseries are:
‘Suspicion and Sabotage’ by Andrew Smith – Earth's mineral resources are depleting, resulting in great suspicion towards a planned mission to mine the asteroid belt. With mounting tensions due to a series of sabotage incidents on the Moon and an attempted assassination on Earth, can the International Space Police Force unravel the situation before it escalates into full-scale war?
In ‘Shadow of the Moonlight’ by Mark Wright, renowned movie star Striker Torrance has been murdered, prompting the ISPF to travel to the Rothchester-Remini hotel on the Moon to investigate. As Nathan connects with the iconic star Coral Goldfinch, the team starts to unveil the grim secrets hidden behind Hollywood's glitzy façade. The motivations behind the obstruction from Coral’s security team and the source of ominous messages remain unclear.
Lastly, ‘Prisoner and Escort’ by Roland Moore (to be released in March 2026) sees Alice Okoro returning from a mission in which she is tasked with escorting a prisoner back to the Moon. The prisoner, Mitchell Kane, has admitted to a murder on Mars, but Nathan suspects he may be lying. Why would he confess to a crime he didn’t commit, and if he’s not the murderer, then who is? The resolution to these inquiries will have shocking repercussions for the ISPF.
Star Cops: Conflict will be released monthly from January to March and September to November 2026. The complete bundle is currently available for pre-order as digital downloads for £50.
