The Third Doctor will encounter The Imposters in a new Doctor Who adventure set for February.

      Following the recent release of Doctor Who: The Third Doctor Adventures – Operation: Vengeance, Big Finish has revealed the next installment set to arrive in February 2026. Titled The Imposters, this new full-cast audio drama continues the adventures of the dandiest of Doctors and his companions.

      In The Imposters, penned by Alan Barnes, the Doctor, along with Sarah Jane Smith and the Brigadier, is in pursuit of stolen advanced technology. Sarah Jane believes that her informant is guiding them to a secret space tracking station, but as the situation grows more tangled, the Doctor reconnects with his former UNIT colleague, Doctor Liz Shaw. What ensues is a dangerous puzzle that includes a bright schoolgirl, a Saturday night wrestling star, and a high-ranking military officer. As if that weren't enough of a challenge, there’s also a scheme to manipulate Earth's weather, a connection to the constellation of Centaurus, and a deadly encounter with the Venusian karate Downward K-klak.

      The Imposters features Tim Treloar as the Third Doctor, Sadie Miller as Sarah Jane Smith, Jon Culshaw as the Brigadier, and Daisy Ashford as Liz Shaw.
