Frankie Muniz posts a photo of his brothers reuniting on the set of Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair.

Frankie Muniz, the star of *Malcolm in the Middle*, posted a picture of himself alongside his co-stars from the series' revival titled *Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair*. This revival will feature Malcolm and his brothers coming together to celebrate their parents' 40th wedding anniversary. Muniz humorously mentioned that he wasn't meant to share the photo with Justin Berfield and Christopher Masterson, who portray his older brothers Reese and Francis, respectively, but recalled the show’s theme song lyric, “you’re not the boss of me now.”

In *Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair*, Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek will reprise their beloved roles as Hal and Lois. The only original cast member not returning is Erik Per Sullivan, who played the youngest brother Dewey. Sullivan has stepped back from acting, and Caleb Ellsworth-Clark (The Thicket) will take on the role of Dewey instead.

New cast members include Keeley Karsten as Malcolm's daughter Leah, Kiana Madeira as his girlfriend Tristan, and Vaugh Murrae as his youngest brother Kelly. Additionally, Craig Lamar Traylor will return as Stevie Kenarban, along with David Anthony Higgins as Craig Feldspar and Gary Anthony Williams as Abe Kenarban.

*Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair* will consist of four 30-minute episodes directed by Ken Kwapis. The original series creator, Linwood Boomer, is back as the writer and executive producer, alongside Cranston, Kwapis, Tracy Katsky, Gail Berman, and the executive producers from New Regency: Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Natalie Lehmann.

The revival will highlight Malcolm (Muniz) and his daughter (Keeley Karsten) as they become entangled in family chaos when Hal (Cranston) and Lois (Kaczmarek) request his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary celebration.

*Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair* is set to premiere in 2026.

Ford is teasing the facelifted Taurus ahead of its global launch in 2026. The sedan now includes Mustang-inspired headlights and a larger front grille, alongside a refreshed interior that incorporates new materials and layout adjustments.

Although Ford's North American lineup hasn't included a sedan since the last Taurus left the Chicago production line in 2019, the nameplate is still alive. While Ford is phasing out sedans in the U.S., the global market seems to have missed the announcement.

After launching the Mondeo for the Chinese market in 2022, Ford rebranded this mid-size sedan as the new Taurus for the Middle East, where it is now nearing a mid-cycle update.

What’s New?

The 2026 Taurus has been previewed through two official teasers that indicate a significant visual refresh. It will feature a new set of headlights designed with a cleaner look and highlighted by modern LED graphics, making it resemble a four-door Mustang more closely.

The new lighting units are positioned beside a wider grille that connects to a sportier lower bumper intake. While the side profile is still under wraps, any updates are likely to be limited to new wheel designs and additional color options.

At the rear, a redesigned tail section showcases more prominent LED taillights and an updated bumper with black trim and a body-colored diffuser.

The tailgate badge indicates that this version is the upscale Titanium trim, rather than the sportier ST-Line currently available in China, which has yet to arrive in Middle Eastern dealerships.

What’s New Inside?

The refresh is also expected to include changes in the cabin, featuring a reworked center console layout and new trim options. The existing model already comes with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.2-inch infotainment screen, so the updates will likely focus on enhancing materials and layout rather than major hardware changes.

Powertrain options are anticipated to carry over from the current model. The 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine produces 239 horsepower, while the hybrid 1.5-liter variant combines an engine and electric motor for a total of 185 horsepower, with 64 horsepower coming from the electric motor alone.

Both variants deliver power to the front wheels, although they use different transmissions: the gasoline model features an eight-speed automatic, while the hybrid uses a CVT.

More details about the facelifted Taurus are expected to be revealed as its launch in Middle Eastern markets approaches next year. It is also likely that the Chinese Ford Mondeo will receive similar updates soon, indicating a coordinated evolution across Ford's global sedan lineup.
