Spartacus: House of Ashur unveils a new trailer.
With its premiere just over three weeks away, MGM+ has unveiled a new red band trailer and a poster for the Spartacus spinoff series, House of Ashur.
In this alternate reality series, Ashur, played by Nick Tarabay, escapes his fate at Mount Vesuvius, and the Romans reward his betrayal by granting him a gladiator school. He rises to power, driven by vengeance and shrewdness, becoming the master of his own household.
Joining Tarabay in the cast are Tenika Davis, Graham McTavish, Jamaica Vaughan, Ivana Baquero, Jordi Webber, Claudia Black, Jaime Slater, India Shaw-Smith, and Leigh Gill. You can view both the green and red band versions of the trailer below.
“Spartacus: House of Ashur is an exhilarating, provocative, and history-altering roller-coaster ride that builds on everything that made the original series a monumental success. What if Ashur had survived, and the Romans rewarded his treachery with the very gladiator school where he once shed blood? Welcome to the House of Ashur. No longer a slave, Ashur has fought his way to power, owning the same ludus that once enslaved him. However, ruling a group of ruthless gladiators is child's play compared to navigating the brutal landscape of Roman politics — a ruthless game where betrayal is not a sin but a form of currency. He challenges tradition by introducing Achillia, a fierce and formidable gladiatrix eager to prove her worth in a man's world. Together, they create a new kind of spectacle that shocks, disrupts, and offends the elite with every drop of blood.”
Spartacus: House of Ashur is set to premiere on December 6th.
