Eleven prepares for the battle against Vecna in a clip from season 5 of Stranger Things.

      As anticipation builds for its premiere next week, Netflix has released a new clip from the fifth episode of Stranger Things. The footage features Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) tackling a timed training session, aided by Hopper (David Harbour) and Joyce (Winona Ryder), as she gears up for her ultimate confrontation with Vecna; check it out below…

      In the fall of 1987, Hawkins is marked by the emergence of the Rifts, and our protagonists are united by one objective: track down and eliminate Vecna. However, he has disappeared, leaving his location and intentions a mystery. To complicate matters, the government has imposed a military quarantine on the town and escalated its search for Eleven, forcing her to retreat into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance draws near, a heavy and familiar sense of dread sets in. The final confrontation is approaching — and with it comes a darkness more potent and lethal than anything they have encountered before. To put an end to this nightmare, they will need everyone — the entire team — to stand united one last time.
