The intriguing Jones sisters have made brief appearances in the View Askewniverse, infusing a touch of free-spirited energy into daily life in Leonardo, New Jersey.
In the concluding issue of Quick Stops Volume 3, we witness all three sisters united for a revealing story centered around family. This comic is set the day after Tricia Jones experienced a distinctive live taping of a game show at her local mall in Mallrats, the day after Heather Jones and Rick Derris departed Quick Stops Groceries for a beach outing in Clerks, and as Alyssa Jones from Chasing Amy travels from the city to see her parents.
Following their beach escapade, Heather and Rick visit the Jones family home, where they reunite with Heather’s sisters, Tricia and Alyssa. It turns out that Rick and his friend Cohee Lundin spent considerable time at the Jones household and have a… personal connection to the notorious “Finger Cuffs” incident. There’s much more to that memorable encounter than the gossip would have you think—there’s enough complexity in human sexuality that an academically inclined Tricia might even want to include it in her book!
