In these polarized times, we can still appreciate these 12 things that everyone should be grateful for.
Regardless of who you are or what you do, these are some pleasant, neutral, and universally adored items that everyone enjoys.

Whether you prefer classic ice cream, coconut-based options, lactose-free varieties, or even avocado ice cream like Tom Brady apparently likes, it’s all ice cream and we can all agree it’s delightful.

Do you love kids? Or do you hope to never have them? It doesn’t matter — we can all concur that there are few things more joyful than hearing a baby laugh.
It’s especially amusing when a baby giggles at something odd, like a sound.
Like an adult making a silly noise with their mouth. That’s something everyone should appreciate.

Batman

Everyone likes Batman.
Even The Joker, Batman's greatest foe, has a sort of admiration for him. Of course he does! Batman is fantastic.
We might prefer different portrayals of Batman — you may think of him as Adam West, Michael Keaton, or Ben Affleck, while I picture him as Christian Bale. It really doesn’t matter! They’re all Batman. We all appreciate him because he strives to do what’s right and keep his corner of the world safe and joyful, no matter how grim things may get.
Even those who view Batman as a vigilante who takes justice into his own hands must agree he’s an intriguing character, even if they disagree with his methods.

Some of us might even enjoy cookies a bit too much, but you know what? We’re willing to take that risk.
Again, we’re not implying that The Simpsons is on our list of universally liked things. We’re focusing on cookies. We’re just using The Simpsons to make our point.
Bill Withers and His Music

If there’s a soul or R&B song you like but aren’t sure of the artist, it was Bill Withers. “Lean on Me”? Bill Withers. “Just the Two of Us”? Bill Withers. “Lovely Day”? Bill Withers. “Ain’t No Sunshine”? Bill Withers.
Even if you don’t enjoy his songs, you can’t help but admire his story: the son of a maid and a coal miner, he served in the Navy, then spent years working as a mechanical assembler while performing and auditioning at night. When “Ain’t No Sunshine” became a success, he initially refused to leave his blue-collar job because he was aware of how unpredictable the music industry could be.
