Gomorrah: The Origins reveals its initial trailer from Sky.
Sky TV has released a trailer for Gomorrah: The Origins, the forthcoming prequel to the renowned Italian crime drama series.
The series features Luca Lubrano as Pietro, the future leader of the Savastano clan, and explores the journey of the ambitious young man as he enters the criminal underworld of 1970s Naples.
In addition to Lubrano, the cast includes Francesco Pellegrino as Angelo ‘A Sirena’, Flavio Furno as ‘O Paisano’, Tullia Venezia as young Imma, Fabiola Balestriere as Annalisa Magliocca, along with Antonio Buono, Ciro Burzo, Luigi Cardone, Antonio Del Duca, Mattia Francesco Cozzolino, Junior Rancel Rodriguez Arcia, and Antonio Incalza.
Pietro is a tough kid from the impoverished regions of Secondigliano. He and his friends adapt to their surroundings, drifting around on mopeds while engaging in minor thefts. However, he harbors a significant ambition: to emulate Angelo ‘A Sirena,’ the neighborhood “king.” When he earns the favor of the young boss, he becomes entangled in a power struggle that exceeds his understanding. He ultimately questions whether this dark, violent lifestyle is truly what he desires or if his affection for Imma can rescue him from such a destiny.
Gomorrah: The Origins is set to debut on Sky in early 2026.
