New trailer released for the AI thriller Mercy featuring Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson.

      Amazon MGM Studios has released a new trailer, poster, and a behind-the-scenes featurette for "Mercy," the forthcoming sci-fi thriller directed by Timur Bekmambetov.

      The story follows Christopher Raven, a detective who faces trial after being wrongly accused of killing his wife. He has only 90 minutes to establish his innocence before an artificial intelligence-powered judicial system and its A.I. Judge, portrayed by Rebecca Ferguson.

      Alongside Pratt and Ferguson, the cast includes Kali Reis, Annabelle Wallis, Chris Sullivan, and Kylie Rogers. You can watch the trailer below.

      Set in the near future, the film depicts a detective (Chris Pratt) on trial for the murder of his wife. He must prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) he once supported, within a tight timeframe of 90 minutes, before the judge decides his fate.

      "Mercy" is set to be released in theaters on January 23rd.
