The classic NES game Jaws is set to be released on PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

      Limited Run Games has revealed that it is not safe to return to the water as they get ready for a physical release of the 1987 NES game, Jaws. Pre-orders will open on 19th December for two different physical editions on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, but act fast as the pre-order window will close on 18th January.

      In this rerelease of the classic NES game from 1987, the most feared great white shark returns. Players daring enough to confront this pixelated predator can maneuver their boat through the ocean and battle various terrifying sea creatures while hunting for the legendary shark.

      Gamers can prepare for impending danger thanks to the sonar receiver's beeping, but if the ship is struggling against the depths' threats, it can be upgraded to different vessels that offer enhanced firepower and a greater chance of survival.

      The first of the two physical editions is called Jaws: Retro Edition. This version, available for both PS5 and Switch, includes a physical copy of the game along with an 8-page booklet.

      The Jaws: The Bigger Boat Edition, also available for PS5 and Nintendo Switch, includes the game’s physical copy, an 8-page booklet, a NES-inspired box, the game soundtrack on a physical CD, a ‘Beach Closed’ enamel pin badge, a themed keychain, and a stunning pixelated shark lamp.
