IDW reveals a sequel series to Event Horizon titled Inferno.
IDW Publishing has revealed plans to follow its prequel series Event Horizon: Dark Descent with an official sequel to the cult classic sci-fi horror film from 1997. Event Horizon: Inferno will be written once again by Christian Ward, who also penned Dark Descent, and will collaborate with artist Rob Carey (Aliens: Resistance) to continue the narrative two centuries after the chilling events of the original movie.
“I’m excited to keep the story of Event Horizon going,” Ward expressed. “We first shared what transpired before the events of the film, and now we’re diving into what takes place after the credits have rolled. Expect more sci-fi, increased excitement, and particularly more cosmic horror. There are still demons in hell, and we are just getting started.”
