Trailer for the sci-fi action thriller Worldbreaker featuring Milla Jovovich and Luke Evans.

      In anticipation of its theatrical debut next month, Aura Entertainment has released a poster and a trailer for the action sci-fi film Worldbreaker.

      Directed by Brad Anderson (Session 9, The Machinist), the story follows Willa, a young girl living a sheltered life on a secluded island with her father. He prepares her to survive in a world devastated by monsters that infect their victims. However, when a mysterious girl washes ashore, danger looms, and Willa must depend on her skills to stay alive.

      The film features a cast that includes Luke Evans, Billie Boullet, Mila Harris, and Milla Jovovich. You can watch the trailer below.

      After the rise of the Breakers—monsters that infect and distort those they encounter—men fell first, leaving women to spearhead the resistance. Willa’s mother is one of the fiercest warriors in the war, while her father, a scarred veteran, lives in hiding with Willa on a distant island, training her for survival.

      Their delicate peace is disrupted when a mysterious girl washes up on their shore. Willa, yearning for companionship, secretly takes her in—until the truth comes to light, bringing danger with it. As the Breakers draw near, Willa must lean on her father’s teachings and her own bravery to survive.

      Worldbreaker is set to release in theaters on January 30th.
