The anime movie "All You Need Is Kill" has released a trailer in English.
GKIDS has released a new English-dub trailer for All You Need Is Kill, the forthcoming anime film adaptation of Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s light novel. This story was previously adapted into a live-action film in 2014, featuring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt in Edge of Tomorrow. Take a look below…
Set in the year 20XX, ALL YOU NEED IS KILL centers around Rita, a clever yet solitary young woman who volunteers to assist in the reconstruction of Japan after the mysterious emergence of a gigantic alien flower called “Darol.” When Darol unexpectedly triggers a catastrophic incident, releasing monstrous creatures that ravage the population, Rita is caught in the chaos—and meets her end. However, she then awakens again. And again. Trapped in a perpetual time loop, Rita must navigate the trauma and repetition of death until she encounters Keiji, an introverted young man who is also ensnared in the same cycle. Together, they strive to escape the loop and seek meaning amidst the surrounding turmoil.
All You Need Is Kill is scheduled for release in U.S. theaters on January 16th, 2026.
