      With 2026 now here, the iconic killer Ghostface from Scream has shared a set of New Year’s resolutions in a new teaser for Scream 7. The short teaser humorously highlights the New Year, revealing Ghostface’s top resolution to “call old friends more and pay them a visit,” signaling Neve Campbell’s return as heroine Sidney Prescott after her absence in the sixth film. Other resolutions include committing to more cardio and ensuring his knife stays sharp for his potential victims.

      This teaser arrives just under two months before Scream 7 is set to be released at the end of February. The film is penned and helmed by franchise creator Kevin Williamson, featuring Campbell as she reconnects with various characters from the Scream series, including deceased ones like David Arquette’s Dewey Riley and former Ghostface killers Stu Macher and Roman Bridger, portrayed by Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley, respectively. The manner in which they will factor into the narrative, given their demise, remains uncertain.

      Scream 7 hits theaters on February 27th.
