A new trailer has been released for Ryan Murphy's body horror series, The Beauty.
With just over two weeks left until The Beauty debuts on Hulu and Disney+, a new trailer has been released for the upcoming body horror series created by Ryan Murphy of American Horror Story fame.
The narrative follows FBI agents Cooper and Jordan (played by Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall) as they become targets of a mysterious billionaire (Ashton Kutcher) who has developed a miraculous drug that causes horrifying side effects. Their investigation into the gruesome deaths of international supermodels leads them to uncover a larger conspiracy.
In addition to Peters, Hall, and Kutcher, the cast includes Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, Amelia Gray Hamlin, Ari Graynor, Bella Hadid, Ben Platt, Billy Eichner, Isabella Rossellini, Jaquel Spivey, Jessica Alexander, Jon Jon Briones, John Carroll Lynch, Julie Halston, Lux Pascal, Meghan Trainor, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Peter Gallagher, and Vincent D’Onofrio.
In FX’s “The Beauty,” the outlook of high fashion takes a dark turn as international supermodels begin to die in horrific and enigmatic ways. FBI Agents Cooper Madsen (Evan Peters) and Jordan Bennett (Rebecca Hall) are assigned to Paris to uncover the facts. As they dig further into the investigation, they discover a sexually transmitted virus that alters ordinary individuals into images of flawless beauty, albeit with dreadful consequences. Their journey puts them directly at odds with “The Corporation” (Ashton Kutcher), a shadowy tech billionaire who has covertly developed a miracle drug called “The Beauty,” willing to do anything to defend his trillion-dollar empire—including deploying his lethal enforcer, “The Assassin” (Anthony Ramos). Amid the chaos of the spreading epidemic, “Jeremy” (Jeremy Pope), a desperate outsider, struggles to find meaning as the agents race through Paris, Venice, Rome, and New York to thwart a threat that could change the course of humanity. The Beauty is a global thriller that raises the question: what would you sacrifice for perfection?
The Beauty will premiere on FX and Hulu in the U.S. on January 21st, and will be available internationally on Disney+ starting January 22nd.
