      After its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, Searchlight Pictures has released a trailer for the sci-fi drama In the Blink of an Eye. Directed by Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, Wall-E, John Carter), the film weaves together three distinct storylines that span thousands of years, each exploring themes of hope, human connection, and the cycle of life.

      The cast features Rashida Jones, Kate McKinnon, Daveed Diggs, Jorge Vargas, and Tanaya Beatty. You can watch the trailer below...

      In the far past, a Neanderthal family (Jorge Vargas, Tanaya Beatty), forced from their home, fights to survive while protecting their children and learning to use primitive tools in a harsh environment. In the present, Claire (Rashida Jones), an ambitious post-graduate anthropologist examining ancient proto-human remains, begins a hesitant relationship with her classmate, Greg (Daveed Diggs). Meanwhile, two centuries later, on a spaceship heading to a distant planet, Coakley (Kate McKinnon) and a sentient onboard computer face a strange illness that jeopardizes the ship’s oxygen-producing plants.

      In the Blink of an Eye will be available on Hulu and Disney+ on February 27th.
