Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord has been renewed for a second season.
It appears to be nearly impossible to keep Maul down for an extended period. With the series premiere of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord just days away, Disney and Lucasfilm have already approved a second season for the eagerly awaited series.
New Lucasfilm president Dave Filoni announced the second season's development today. Filoni has overseen a significant portion of the Star Wars franchise for nearly twenty years, working on animated series like The Clone Wars and Rebels, as well as live-action series such as The Mandalorian and Ahsoka. He has also written and produced The Mandalorian & Grogu, which is set to hit theaters on May 22nd.
Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord features Sam Witwer as Maul, Gideon Adlon as Devon Izara, Wagner Moura as Brander Lawson, Richard Ayoade as Two-Boots, Dennis Haysbert as Master Eeko-Dio Daki, Chris Diamantopoulos as Looti Vario, Charlie Bushnell as Rylee Lawson, Vanessa Marshall as Rook Kast, David W. Collins as Spybot, A.J. LoCascio as Marrok, and Steve Blum as Icarus.

Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord takes place after the events of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, delivering a thrilling adventure where Maul seeks to rebuild his criminal empire on a planet unscathed by the Empire. Here, he encounters a disillusioned young Jedi Padawan, who may prove to be the apprentice he needs in his unending quest for vengeance.
Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord is set to premiere on Disney+ on April 6th.
