Apple TV has released a trailer for "Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed," an upcoming dark comedy thriller series directed by David Gordon Green (known for "Halloween" and "The Righteous Gemstones").
Tatiana Maslany, from "Orphan Black" and "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law," plays the role of Paula, a divorced mother who becomes entangled in a dangerous situation involving blackmail, murder, and youth soccer after she begins looking into a crime she thinks she witnessed.
The cast alongside Maslany includes Jake Johnson, Brandon Flynn, Murray Bartlett, Jessy Hodges, Jon Michael Hill, Charlie Hall, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg, Nola Wallace, and Dolly De Leon.
"Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed" tracks Paula (Maslany), a newly divorced mother, as she descends into a perilous situation filled with blackmail, murder, and youth soccer. Believing she has seen a crime and grappling with a custody dispute and an identity crisis, Paula initiates her own investigation, which could expose a larger conspiracy while offering her a chance to restore her family and her sense of self.
The series is set to premiere on Apple TV on May 20th.
