The initial trailer for Duncan Jones’ animated film Rogue Trooper has been released.
Rebellion and Liberty Films have released the first teaser trailer for Rogue Trooper, the upcoming adaptation by writer-director Duncan Jones (Moon, Warcraft) of Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons’ 2000AD comic strip.
The film features Aneurin Barnard (Dunkirk) in the lead role as the eponymous super soldier, supported by a cast that includes Hayley Atwell (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning), Jack Lowden (Slow Horses), Daryl McCormack (Bad Sisters), Reece Shearsmith (Saltburn), Diane Morgan (Cunk on Earth), Alice Lowe (Black Mirror), Asa Butterfield (Sex Education), and Sean Bean (Game of Thrones). Rogue Trooper follows 19, a 'Genetic Infantryman', who becomes the last survivor of an invading force. Eager to find the traitor who betrayed him and his fellow soldiers, this super soldier is joined by the personalities of three comrades who fell in action, stored within his gun, helmet, and backpack.
