Vampirella is set to heat up with an exciting Summer Special in 2026.

      The Daughter of Drakulon is gearing up for a sun-filled release this July with the launch of Vampirella Summer Special 2026 from Dynamite Entertainment. Even immortal vampires (or is she an alien? Both!) need some downtime for relaxation. Dedicated fans are aware that Drakulonians lack the sunlight vulnerability that classic vampires possess, allowing her to enjoy a day at the beach. However, despite being beach-ready, various aspects of Vampirella’s life tend to create complications during even the most meticulously planned vacations!

      In "Rising from the Ashes," the raven-haired, sharp-toothed anti-heroine unexpectedly finds herself transported 2,000 years into the past. Instead of enjoying the waves, she's thrown into a dramatic situation that becomes even more chaotic as a nearby volcano begins to stir, indicating it's not dormant. Vampi was seeking an island escape, but she's certainly in for more than she expected!

      The oversized special issue is crafted by Erica Shultz (Charmed, Xena) with illustrations by Adriana Melo (Birds of Prey, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy). It will be available with a main cover by Melo, a variant cover by Shannon Maer, and a cosplay variant featuring CucumberCosplay; previews of these can be found here along with some early interior inks.

      Vampirella Summer Special 2026 is scheduled to be released in July 2026.
