Coyote vs. Acme Trailer: Much-Awaited Looney Tunes Movie Set for Release This Summer

      After completing filming in the first half of 2022, Dave Green’s Coyote vs. Acme has encountered more challenges in reaching theaters than the Road Runner typically does. Following Warner Bros. Discovery's decision to shelve the film as a tax write-off, they eventually reconsidered and chose to sell it to distributors. Ketchup Entertainment, known for releasing The Day the Earth Blew Up, came to the film's rescue and has now announced a release date of August 28. In anticipation of the release, the first trailer has been unveiled.

      Here’s the synopsis: “After years of being blasted by bombs, crushed by dynamite, tangled in magnets, hit by boulders, run over by trains, deceived by tunnels, launched by springs, steamrolled by heavy machinery, undermined by misfires, troubled by bungees, rattled by rockets, betrayed by bat suits, jolted by rocket skates, flipped by unicycles, shaken by quake pills, stretched by rogue rubber bands, and thrown off every cliff in the Southwest, Wile E. Coyote (Genius) finally strikes back. Joining forces with billboard accident lawyer Kevin Avery (Will Forte), he confronts slick corporate lawyer Buddy Crane (John Cena) and ACME, Inc., the profit-driven conglomerate responsible for all of the Coyote’s wild misadventures.”
