The film centers on a group of high school seniors who take a driver’s ed car without permission and embark on a wild adventure to find their lovesick friend's college freshman girlfriend and win her back.
The cast features Sam Nivola, Sophie Telegadis, Mohana Krishnan, Aidan Laprete, Lilah Pate, Molly Shannon, Kumail Nanjiani, Alyssa Milano, and Tim Baltz. You can watch the trailer below...
Written by Thomas Moffett (An Actor Prepares), the film tells the story of teens who hit the road in a stolen driver’s ed vehicle, racing against time to assist a lovesick senior (Nivola) in locating his college freshman girlfriend (Pate) and winning her affection again. Throughout their chaotic 24-hour trip, they encounter school security, police, petty criminals, and even end up adopting a three-legged cat.
Driver’s Ed is scheduled to premiere on May 15th.
