      IO Interactive has unveiled a new trailer for 007 First Light, showcasing several key features that players will utilize as Bond. The Rules of Spycraft trailer elaborates on what it means to be an MI6 recruit immersed in the world of espionage.

      This latest trailer for the visually impressive 007 First Light highlights the developers' emphasis on creativity within the gameplay. Players will have the freedom to employ various methods of spycraft to accomplish their missions.

      Infiltration can be achieved by staying ahead of adversaries through eavesdropping to gather crucial intelligence, which can then be used to devise strategies to deceive guards or act stealthily without alerting anyone.

      The gadgets from Q Branch are essential assets for Bond, allowing players to create a loadout featuring a range of tools that facilitate stealth, distractions, and inventive problem-solving. Players will have access to the Q‑Lens, which emphasizes important information and hackable devices; the Q-Watch, to activate gadgets and create diversions; the Laser Strap, effective for disorienting enemies and generating environmental distractions; along with numerous other items.

      When stealth and deception fail, combat becomes necessary. Players can utilize their surroundings to defeat enemies in close-quarters confrontations, rush foes before they can fire their weapons, or leverage the Focus feature to slow down time for precise actions. Firearms can also serve as effective weapons when ammunition is depleted, as players can throw them at enemies to induce a daze effect.

      Upon completing each mission, players can engage in the Tactical Simulation mode to enhance their skills. Every mission completed in this mode will be scored and contribute to the global and friends' leaderboards.

      007 First Light is currently available for pre-order and is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on May 27th. Nintendo Switch 2 players can expect the game to be released this summer. All pre-orders will automatically upgrade to the Deluxe Edition at no additional cost.
