In anticipation of the upcoming premiere of Star City next month, Apple TV has released a new trailer for the prequel spinoff series of For All Mankind.
This alternate history thriller delves into the lives of the cosmonauts, engineers, and intelligence agents involved in the Soviet space program, showcasing the moment when the Soviet Union triumphed in the race to send the first man to the moon.
The Star City cast features Rhys Ifans (House of the Dragon), Anna Maxwell Martin (Motherland), Agnes O'Casey (Black Doves), Alice Englert (Bad Behaviour), Solly McLeod (House of the Dragon), Adam Nagaitis (Chernobyl), Ruby Ashbourne Serkis (I, Jack Wright), Josef Davies (Andor), and Priya Kansara (Bridgerton).
This audacious new chapter, inspired by the critically acclaimed space-race drama "For All Mankind," is a gripping paranoid thriller that transports us to a pivotal moment in the alternate history narrative of the space race—when the Soviet Union was the first to land a man on the moon. However, this time, the story is told from behind the Iron Curtain, revealing the experiences of the cosmonauts, engineers, and intelligence agents within the Soviet space program and the considerable risks they took to advance humanity.
