The cast also features Paris Jackson, Blair Underwood, RJ Cyler, Emyri Crutchfield, Jason Isbell, Harry Goodwins, Rockmond Dunbar, Michael Harney, Johnell Young, Isaiah Hill, and James Lee Thomas. You can watch the trailer below…
RZA’S ONE SPOON OF CHOCOLATE centers on Unique (Shameik Moore, known for “Dope” and as the voice of Miles Morales in the Spider-Verse series), a veteran and former inmate aiming for a new life in a small town. After a clash with a group of locals, he begins to suspect that they might be related to the disappearance of young men in the region—including his cousin. As he seeks the truth, he becomes a target of both the gang and the local sheriff's office, whose involvement in the disappearances may be even more sinister. Rather than waiting to be victimized, Unique and his closest allies (Paris Jackson, RJ Cyler) choose to take a stand in this sharply satirical and stylish action thriller from the innovative leader of the Wu-Tang Clan.
One Spoon of Chocolate is set to hit theaters on May 1st.
