Lionsgate has unveiled a new poster and trailer for the upcoming comedy-drama Power Ballad, directed by John Carney (Sing Street). The film follows washed-up wedding singer Rick (Paul Rudd) and fading boyband star Danny (Nick Jonas) as they forge an unexpected friendship after meeting at a gig. However, when Danny records one of Rick’s songs without his consent and it revives his own career, Rick is determined to reclaim the recognition for the hit.
The cast also features Peter McDonald, Marcella Plunkett, Havana Rose Liu, and Jack Reynor. You can watch the trailer below.
