A brand new Doctor Who: The Sixth Doctor Adventure is now available from Big Finish.

      The Sixth Doctor (Colin Baker) returns in a new Doctor Who audio box set from Big Finish, continuing his journey alongside Peri (Nicola Bryant). In this latest audio story, they are joined by Vislor Turlough (Mark Strickson), the former companion who previously betrayed the Fifth Doctor to the Black Guardian.

      Unlike his predecessor, the Sixth Doctor holds a tighter grip on trust, yet Turlough somehow finds himself back on the TARDIS. While the Doctor may be skeptical of Turlough, they must learn to collaborate during three new adventures that take them into Earth's history.

      In "The Reckoning" by Nev Fountain, the trio travels to seventeenth-century London after their TARDIS becomes trapped in the trajectory of a neutron star. They encounter an old friend, Christopher Marlowe, who is attempting to escape a pact involving his soul. However, has Turlough made another deal with the Devil? This story features Nigel Fairs as Christopher Marlowe and Eve Winters as Tess.

      "A Crucible of Queens" by L M Myles places the Doctor and Turlough on opposing sides following the Battle of Agincourt. Turlough has allied with Charles, the Dauphin of France, while the Doctor supports King Charles VII. Two formidable women, Yolande, Duchess of Anjou, and the Dauphin’s estranged mother, Isabeau of Bavaria, are also at play. Can the TARDIS team satisfy both queens without facing dire consequences? This adventure includes Julie Dray as Yolande of Aragon, Debbie Chazen as Isabeau of Bavaria, Laurent Lafuma as Duke of Burgundy/Charles VI, Narayan David Hecter as the Dauphin of France, Randy Guine as Sir Raynald de Charny/Phillipe, and Charlie Tighe as a Man-at-Arms.

      In "The Curse of the Duergar" by Julian Richards, the TARDIS crew journeys back to the Viking era. The Shieldmaiden Hervor seeks to claim the cursed Sword Tyrfing, forged by the Duergar, the kings of the underground. The Doctor learns the harsh truth that the sword demands blood once drawn, and even he cannot resist its influence, leading to a horrifying moment for Peri and Turlough as the Doctor is compelled to take a life. Guest stars include Lara Lemon as Hervor, Daniel Hawksford as Angantyr’s Ghost, Richard Clifford as the Shepherd, and George Naylor as Dvalinn.
